Made to Measure Curtains

We have a large collection of warm and cool neutrals for making curtains to create soothing and calm interiors. 

Neutral tones create a timeless interior, but do not need to be dull and boring; by layering different shades and using texture a neutral scheme will be interesting and relaxing. 

Neutral fabrics can range from muted Duck Eggs, to Creams and sophisticated shades of grey such as Dove, Scree and Charcoal.

You need to choose the best shade for your room by considering the way the room faces, the amount of light you get and the atmosphere you want to create. Do you want a light and airy room or are you trying to create a warm and cosy scheme?

Using these neutrals in living rooms and bedrooms creates a relaxing feel and are suitable for all types of homes – from city apartments to country homes: I would recommend making a mood board so that you can see how the different shades and textures you have chosen work together.

To do this you need to collect samples of the items you are using. You can also include images of things you have used for your inspiration for example photographs or cut outs from magazines.

To make the scheme interesting try mixing stripes, spots and florals in neutral tones with your Plains. For example, you could choose a neutral fabric for curtains such as Plain Linen Union - Duck Egg, and then use gentle florals such as Cow Parsley in Duck egg and Cornflower for the cushions.

All our curtain fabrics are made from eco-friendly linen. They are printed in the UK on a good weight of 100% Linen and Linen Union and are all suitable for neutral curtains. We hold a good stock of all our fabrics ensuring delivery is usually within 3-5 working days, with an overnight service available by phone call request. The same team who takes your order will roll, inspect and cut it, so accuracy and quality can be assured.
