Installing a roller blind is very straightforward. We provide two fixing brackets and four screws for installation, so your blind can typically be fitted in under 30 minutes.

It’s a simple job that’s ideal even if you’re new to DIY. All you’ll need is a cross-head screwdriver, pencil, tape measure, and a drill.

Once installed correctly, the roller blind will sit neatly inside or outside the window recess, depending on your preference.

If your blind is fitted inside a recess and you’d prefer to hide the top roll, we can also provide a matching pelmet made to coordinate with your blind.

A roller shield, or pelmet, can be added to a roller blind to conceal the white roll at the top for a neater, more finished look.

**Please note that pelmets are only suitable for blinds fitted inside a window recess and must be top fixed. The recess must also have a minimum depth of 10 cm to accommodate the pelmet.

We offer three roller blind styles:

1) Standard Rolled: The fabric falls backward and sits closer to the window, thus displaying a 'white roll' at the top which is the reverse lining.

2) Standard Rolled with pelmet: The pelmet is pattern matched to your blind. We can offer contrast fabrics for pelmets, please contact us to discuss this further.

3) Reverse Rolled: The fabric falls forward so you also see the design facing forward at the top.

All pelmets are made bespoke to your roller blinds and patten matched throughout. If your blind is going on the inside of an angled recess, for example a splayed window, then the width of your pelmet will alter depending on where you want to fix it; the distance within the recess as to where it's placed is up to you. You will need to include this measurement in your order as your "finished pelmet width".

Yes, absolutely. And this can be in any fabric of your choice. It would be available as a bottom border only on roller blinds and measures 5cm in width.

We provide either an ivory cord, or beaded chains: Ivory Cord, Brass, Gun Metal, Pewter, Chrome, and Antique Bronze. The Ivory cord can be used for both side and centre pull options. For the centre pulls, it will always come with an ivory cord and wooden acorn.

We offer three finishing options for our roller blinds:

1) Processed:This option uses the fabric on its own, without any lining. A light stiffening treatment is applied to give the fabric structure. It works particularly well with our double-sided fabrics, such as Lapland and Scandi Stripe as the design can be seen from both sides.

2) Laminated: A cream backing is bonded to the reverse of the main fabric. This provides additional structure and a consistent appearance from the outside of the window.

3) Blackout: A white blackout lining is added to the back of the fabric. This option is ideal if you would like to block out light and increase privacy.If you’re unsure which finishing would suit your space best, our team will be happy to help you choose.

Centre pull options for a roller blinds have a minimum width of 55cm. The maximum is 240cm wide x 180cm drop.

Yes, we also offer spring loaded roller blinds. They are always assigned a centre pull control with an ivory cord and wooden acorn. 

Standard rolled is when the fabric rests closer to your window, where the reverse lining of the blind is visible at the top of the blind. However, reverse rolled is where the fabric falls forward, thus concealing the reverse lining.

With the exception of the Malmo, all of our Scandinavian Woven fabrics are double-sided, they are therefore a particularly good choice for processed blinds as you can see both
